Summer Reading 2026: Unearth a Story

June 27th-August 29th

This year’s summer reading theme is “Unearth a Story!”

Children signed up for our summer reading program will get to participate in fun and creative weekly activities, track their reading, and collect cool prizes! The activities will follow the “Unearth a Story” theme—this means dinosaurs, geology, history, and more! Don’t worry if you can’t participate every week; just sign up for the program and attend whichever activities you choose! More information will be emailed upon registration. Week 1: Adopt-A-Dino Scavenger Hunt (June 27th)

Week 2: Flag Finders: America’s Birthday! (June 29th-July 3rd)

Week 3: Dino Acrostic Poetry (July 6th-July 11th)

Week 4: Family Game Night (July 13th-18th)

Week 5: Dinosaur Breeds Matching & Coloring Activity (July 20th-25th)

Week 6: Blooming Poems (July 27th-August 1st)

Week 7: Dinosaur Puzzles (August 3rd-8th)

Week 8: Dino ID Display Activity (August 10th-15th)

Week 9: Friendship Bracelet-Making (August 22nd)

Week 10: Prize Pickup & Dinosaur Storytime (August 29th)
