How your donation helps the Library
-
✽
Books, books and more books! Our collection consists of old classics to up to the minute best sellers. From fiction to biographies, juvenile to gardening, we carry it all. And what we don’t carry we can quickly get from another library!
-
✽
Programming for all! Our programs include chess for children, mahjong for adults, reading to dogs, book clubs, knitting circles, summer reading, toddler storytime, computers for seniors and so much more. We are constantly adding to our programs for your enjoyment.
-
✽
Museum passes. The Purchase Free Library offers a variety of museum passes for use by our patrons.
-
✽
Infrastructure and our building. Our library is nearing 100 years old and we have been in current space for nearly half of that. Basic upgrades are necessary to keep our library up to date and pleasant for all of our patrons — like you!
